Race Length
9
Number of laps equivalent to an approximate 1 hour 30 minute race in GT1. The race finishes as soon as the winner in GT1 has crossed the line, with everyone behind on their final lap at that stage.
10
11
Race Format
12
27 racers at each event split into three classes: GT1, GT2 and GT3. GT1 cars will often be the quickest of their type with GT3 cars being the slowest. Drivers are only racing against those in their class.

The Championship
26
Each platform will have 3 individual championship tables for GT1, GT2, and GT3, and a separate teams championship. There will also be an overall teams championship across all platforms. PC is limited to 60fps.
27
Points are awarded based on finishing position in class and drivers will remain in the same class throughout the championship. Drivers will be able to drop their worst score meaning only their best 7 rounds will count to their overall total.
28
29
Teams
30
There will be 9 teams throughout the championship, with each having one driver from GT1, GT2 and GT3 all randomly selected. Points gained by drivers in each round are added up to become their team points for that round.
31
All 9 team sponsors have previously won an MCEC teams championship in a preceeding season. Points gained by teams on each platform in each round are added up to become their overall team points for that round.
32
33
Reserve Drivers
34
Each regular racer can use a reserve driver on a maximum of one occasion throughout the championship if they can't make a race. Reserve drivers will score points for the team they're reserving for as normal & are free to race for any other team if needed.
35
If a driver is not online 30 mins before the race is due to start teams are free to seek out a reserve driver. If the original driver is not online 15 mins before the race starts the reserve will be driving in his place, even if they make it online before the start of the race.
36
Reserve drivers are restricted to racing in the class they are assigned or above. A GT1 reserve cannot race in GT2 for example, but if there are no GT1 reserves available a GT2 reserve can race in GT1. Secondary Championship points determine priority.
37
38
Team Changes
39
If a regular racer is due to miss their second round of the season their team can choose to replace them permanently. Should that happen, all reserve driver slots used previously by the outgoing team member will be reinstated.
40
Any drivers coming into the championship in a permanent seat mid-way through the season will not inherit any previous points from the driver they're replacing, though will keep their points from any appearances as a reserve.
41
42
Lapping Cars
43
Standard multi-class endurance racing rules apply - cars being lapped do not have to move out of the way for faster cars coming through, but should also not actively defend their position and try to slow down faster cars.
44
Cars being lapped should stick to the racing line so faster cars can predict where they will be and make overtaking easier, though if a lapped car wants to move well out of the way safely that's fine. If in doubt, stick to the racing line.
45
Drivers must still wait if they're involved in an incident with cars of other classes, and must not interfere at all in the races of other classes (eg. slowing down or boosting other drivers). Blue flags also apply when lapping cars in the same class.
46
47
Pit Stops
48
2 mandatory pit stops must be made per race. A pit stop here is defined as simply driving straight through the pit lane. Manoeuvers to avoid slow-downs are not permitted.
49
The first time a driver may enter the pit lane is once they have started lap 5, and they are not permitted to enter the pit lane once they have started their final lap.
50
15 minutes must pass between each pit stop. It will be up to drivers to keep an eye on the timer to ensure they don't make their next stop within 15 minutes of their last, but are otherwise free to decide their own strategy.
51
GT2 & GT3 drivers will have to keep in mind that their final lap will be variable, however some leniency will be shown as long as no advantage is gained from a late pit stop.
52
53
Damage
54
All drivers must use the pit lanes provided to fix vehicle damage and must not respawn unless in an unrecoverable position. Respawning after entering the pit lane is permitted if there are issues with wrenches and damage needs to be fixed.
55
The multi-class playlist glitch will be used for the final round. If a driver in GT1 loses their car they are free to drive their lobby chosen car for the rest of the lap and then pull into the pit lane to take a spare GT1 car.
56
57
Disconnections
58
Everyone who starts the race will be classified and therefore receive points. If a racer disconnects they will be classified in 9th position, with the next person who disconnects classified in 8th, and so on.
59
If 2 drivers in a single class or 3 drivers overall disconnect during the start phase before the race is underway then a red flag will be called and the race will be started again.
60
On the second attempt it would require 3 drivers in a single class or 4 drivers overall for another red flag to be declared. If a third attempt is required we'll be starting the race regardless.
61
If a disconnection happens in the final 10 minutes of the race the driver will receive the points for the position they were in if they were more than 2 seconds ahead of the driver behind for each minute left when the disconnection happens.
62
63
Start Procedure
64
Drivers will line up on the grid in a staggered (F1-style) order, with 3 distinct groups for GT1, GT2 and GT3. If no grid lines, there will be a car length gap between each car and multiple car lengths left between each class.
65
The official race starter will verify everyone is in an adequate position then place a sticky bomb near the start of the GT1 grid. When this sticky bomb explodes the race has begun for GT1. This will happen two more times for each remaining GT.
66
Mid-Drive Speed Boost (handbrake boost/double clutch) cannot be used off the start. For round 6 the handbrake cannot be used to launch the car.
67
68
End Procedure
69
The race ends when the GT1 leader crosses the line to finish their race. Lapped drivers should pull off to the side of the road after the finish line and remain in their final positions until all drivers have completed the race.
70
71
Vehicle Upgrades
72
Drivers have free choice for the following upgrades: Armor, Brakes, Engine, Spoiler, Suspension, Transmission, Turbo

81
82

Driving Standards & Penalties
96
If there are any incidents and a driver wishes to submit a report about another, the decision on who is at fault will be use these rules as the primary guideline: https://f1metrics.wordpress.com/2014/08/28/the-rules-of-racing/
97
Pit Stops
Failure to wait 15 minutes between successive mandatory pit stops = 10 seconds + average pit stop time for the track
98
Not taking a mandatory pit stop = 30 seconds + average pit stop time for the track
99
Respawning to fix damage = 10 seconds + average pit stop time for the track
100
Collisions
Failure to wait after clearly causing a collision = 10 seconds + time lost by victim on that lap
