The Off-Season Holiday Spirit

Ah off-season, it's good to see you again.

While regular Gfreds got a good send off last Sunday, it will be nice to take a break from the norm this month. Once again another "off-season" rolls around (for those who don't know what I'm talking about check broughy.com/schedule#seasons) and I'm looking forward to getting back into iRacing, enjoying what will hopefully be some interesting new GTA content later in the month, and obviously doing all the usual winter fun in the snow.

For the start of the month I'll probably take a break from GTA as it's always fun to do some Sunday streams on something else. Obviously the game will come back into play later in the month, but hopefully only after my birthday on the 10th. Rockstar have been kind to me in past years and saved DLC releases until after that point, so hopefully that continues this time too.

And of course this will be my final monthly Patreon post of 2021 (and possibly as an unmarried man depending on whether I manage to fit in writing January's post during the first weekend of 2022)! I hope December treats you all very well and you have a great time ringing in the new year. The last two years are a blur to me - I turned 30 and then suddenly I'm turning 32, and everything that happened in between blends into one. So hopefully 2022 can give us something that lets things move a bit slower. Although I think I might be fighting a losing battle on that one...
