It's Big Break Time
Hi all and welcome to the monthly Patreon post for September. This will also be the last post until November for reasons I'll explain here. As always thank you all for the continued extra support you show by being one of my Patrons, and hopefully you'll all still be around when I get back :D
So if you don't know already I'll be heading over the the US again in the middle of September, staying there until pretty much the middle of October. I'll also then be going straight back to Sweden for a week or so for Zearxy's Grandfather's funeral, so it's safe to say regular streams/videos won't return properly until late October.
Things will still be happening, from random streams in the US or at TwitchCon (one of the primary reasons we're going), to catching up on videos/fitting in streams before and during the Sweden trip, but it's not going to be as predictable as usual. And as always when taking such breaks I always worry about the effects it will have on both YouTube and Twitch. I'm working super hard now to prepare things for while I'm away, but it will never be as if I was at home working like normal. I just have to hope that everyone will still be around waiting for testing videos and long Twitch streams when I get back.
On that note, obviously I won't be able to test about 4 cars on their release days while I'm away. I'll of course catch up with them and get videos out when I get back, but there won't be any instant lap times or top speeds. You guys will still get those results early before the videos go live, but it won't be on release day. Luckily it doesn't seem like any of the cars that will be released while I'm away will be competitive in their classes, but again it's always a worry that people will simply unsubscribe if they're not getting the information they're used to.
But there's nothing I can do about that. This is a trip Zearxy and I have been looking forward to taking for a long time, and we had so much fun in the US for TwitchCon 2017 that we're even more excited this time around. It will be a much needed break for me as well - I'm pretty sure I was burned out even before the Casino DLC dropped XD
As always thank you all for the continued support. The next exclusive stream will be in November, and I'll be trying to get all reward requests for September done before I go, and for October done in or before November. It will all get done, it will just require a bit more juggling around than normal.
