Off-Season Hype!

Welcome everyone to August's monthly Patreon post, and so begins the first full off-season! As I've talked about before I've introduced "seasons" to my content (see broughy.com/schedule#seasons for more details) but it all came together a few months ago where I turned a month in which I felt I needed a bit of a break into an actual break.

So with the first "off-season" month in April being a bit of a half-month, August will be the first full month where I don't stick to my regularly scheduled content. I'm planning a full weekend off mid-way through the month, which will be the first since January this year with the last before that coming in October 2019, as well as mixing up the streams and playing some different games rather than GTA. Also, when I do play GTA, we won't be sticking to the usual formula - no Gfreds this month!

It's something I'm looking forward to. Giving my brain a bit of a break and being able to switch off from the stress of making sure I tick all the usual boxes will be helpful to allow me to then pick it all back up again for Season 3. Naturally though I'll still be doing the usual GTA car testing every Thursday, but I'm happy the DLC itself came in July rather than August. I tired myself out on that alone that I'm really ready for this break now!

One final thing to mention is for those who submit tracks as Patreon rewards, this month it will be a little different. I'm planning to do a twitch stream of GTA on each platform anyway but it's likely some tracks will be played on Saturday morning rather than the usual Sunday evening. For YouTube stream track submissions, they'll be played next month (in addition to next month's submissions) when the YouTube streams return.
