Good Riddance To January

Hi everyone, welcome to the monthly Patreon update post for February, and good riddance to January! After contracting COVID at the start of the month and having all the worry associated with that, the middle of the month was dealing with lingering fatigue from COVID that just wouldn't go away, and right when I felt things were finally back on track at the end of the month we unfortunately had to go through losing one of our Guinea Pigs (Daisy): https://twitter.com/Broughy1322/status/1355184668560207877

So it's certainly been a challenging 2021 so far, but things are beginning to feel a little better and I'm hopeful that February can get things back on track. While January was bad for a number of reasons, it was also a time where I decided to finally get around to upgrading things in my setup. It has been a lot of work but the bulk of it is sorted now, with streams running at 1080p 60fps while recording footage for videos at 4k 60fps. Things are going to look beautiful and I'm really happy to be back ahead of this sort of stuff.

But with January it was a case of every time I thought things were finally getting better they suddenly didn't. So I'll be keeping myself in check and making sure I stay on top of things, ready in case something else happens! Thank you all as always for the continued support. I'm looking forward to getting back to some normality this month.
