Drip Drip Drip

Good lord this is annoying. Hello all and welcome to February's monthly Patreon update post. We're now coming up to two months since the release of GTA's Drug Wars DLC and we have one bike more than what we had on release day. And actually two cars less than what we had a few days after release day.

The way Rockstar has been treating the drip feed for this update has been horrendous. It would be bad enough as it is, what with the multiple weeks between vehicle releases and not much else added in between, but the fact they've been taking cars away (300R & Issi Rally) has been making it even worse. I've gotten used to not scheduling videos on Thursdays whenever there's an active drip feed in anticipation of needing to upload a new testing video, but for this DLC I've only done one update video since the initial testing. It's crazy.

I'm starting to see the negative effects of this too in the various comments and social media places. I really can't understand what Rockstar is thinking with this but they're not winning themselves any supporters with this new style of content release. It's almost like they don't want people to play.

Nevertheless I'll still always been here every week, ready to test something if they feel gracious enough to give us it. I just wonder how long they can actually keep this up before they completely destroy people's motivation to play at all.

Since September 2016 I’ve been posting updates exclusively for supporters to patreon.com/broughy1322, and later also for YouTube members via the community tab. Those posts have been brought over here for archival purposes, and going forward new updates will be released here two weeks after they’re first released for Patreon supporters and YouTube members.
