Future Envy

Hi again everyone and welcome to June's monthly update post. And I guess we're back in DLC land once again, this time a little bit earlier than usual. You have to look back all the way to 2017 with Gunrunning to see the last "Summer" DLC that we received in June, and that was back when we got GTA updates a lot more frequently (Smuggler's Run came out just two months later). Since 2018 they've always dropped in July, apart from a one-off probably-delayed-due-to-COVID August DLC in 2020.

But with the upcoming Mercenaries DLC I'll be testing cars a month earlier than I'm used to as it arrives on June 13th. Whether this means there will be some other new content (E&E on PC?) before the inevitable Winter DLC, or it just means there will be a MONSTROUS drip feed, I guess we'll find out soon enough. As usual I'll be on hand to test everything and check it all out when it drops, and you'll all be first to know about any lap times as always.

In other behind-the-scenes news, things finally calmed down for me after the craziness of the last few months with getting my website redesign and new store set up. It was nice to be working on those things but I'm also glad they finally got done and I can put my attention to other things. For example just last night I was with a special guest as we drove around a familiar route in GTA while 18 planes tried to kill us. You'll be seeing that video soon hopefully ;)

I suppose I'll see you all on the other side for next month's update post. I envy the future Broughy who will be writing that. He'll have all the car testing done, he'll have figured out all the new and broken things, and he'll likely be talking about "getting back to normal" after a crazy few weeks. Well he better at least, because if not I'm in for a bad month ahead!
