Why Didn’t I Change Sooner?!
Hi all and welcome to June's monthly update post. Last month I talked about the changes I had coming up, especially relating to changing my office from one room in the house to another. It was a pretty big job ahead of me with a lot of things to do, but as I sit here now with all that behind me I'm wondering what took me so long to realise this would be so much better!
I'm so happy with how everything turned out regarding the new office, which is probably why I've made multiple videos this week showing it off in detail. A proper room tour video will come eventually, but it's suffice to say that I wish I'd made this change sooner. It's so much more of a pleasant experience in this office, with the new standing desk, better cable management, and better organisation of everything in general, that I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to streams and video making.
Being able to completely gut this room and build it up from scratch has been equally as difficult as it has been rewarding. The last time I made a major office change was early 2021 when I turned my corner desk into a long one to make space for the new sim rig, but that was more a case of moving things around than overall change. This has been much more involved and I'm much happier at the end of it.
The natural consequence of all that though is that I'm a little behind on some things, specifically the real life racing episode documenting the 24 hour race we did. I wanted that done last month but it's going to have to be June now. Hopefully not too long to go though - I can't wait for you all to share the experience we had and tell the story. In addition to that we'll have the usual videos this month, and with GTA's next DLC now seemingly not coming until at least July, I've at least got some time to catch up. And this new room is sure to make that an easier job too :D
