Feeling The Strain

Hi all and welcome to March's Patreon update post, and boy am I feeling the pressure at the moment.

We're currently halfway through MCEC Season 5 and I'm just about on track with the videos (although I had to upload them on the Wednesday after the following round rather than the Saturday before). It's been a struggle because they take so long to edit, but I feel it's important to keep on track with them because I don't want to get to the end of the season and have 80 hours of work ahead of me still to get them done if I don't do them as I go. As is usually the case, the MCEC has taken over everything. Every stream now is either the MCEC itself of MCEC related, which alongside organising the whole thing definitely increases the chance to burn out on it. But at least we've only got one more month to go.

Complicating matters is of course the new Open Wheels in GTA. If it wasn't for the MCEC I'd have probably already done a load of testing on them and had multiple videos up. But trying to fit everything in is a challenge, especially when they're not so straightforward to test (different tyres, KERS, restricted tracks, etc). The plan at the moment is to make sure I get the video for round 4 of the MCEC out this week, then because of the break week I won't have anything MCEC related until the streams at the weekend, freeing up some time to look at these F1 cars in depth.

Then hopefully by the time April rolls around things will be largely back to normal! Wish me luck!
