Getting Older

Hi all! Sorry for the lateness of this month's update post. I finished up the Stream Week across the 1st and 2nd of October and it was one hell of a busy weekend, which has seemingly taken me this following week to recover from. I'm not even sure I am fully back to 100% either. The joys of getting older! I remember the good old days of late night streams and late mornings. That's just not possibly any more.

One of the big announcements to come out of the stream week was the news that I'm going to be starting a PhD this month. Since it's part time it will last for 7 years, but it's exciting since I'm basically doing a big piece of research on involvement in online communities. That's an aspect of what I've been doing on YouTube and Twitch over the last 10 years that has always fascinated me. A video will be out soon with more details.

As far as the rest of this month goes, I'm really just aiming to get back into the swing of things again, and continue my regular schedule for the remainder of Season 3 until we hit the off-season once again in December. With GTA DLCs and snow, plus the usual birthday and Christmas festivities, it's always a busy month. So I think I'll try to enjoy the relative normality of October and November until then.
