Playing Catch-Up
Well what a busy month September was! At least the end of it due to my annual stream week while at the same time organising MCEC Season 7 behind the scenes. It has taken quite some time to get caught up after the stream week because of the sheer volume of things to do alongside the stuff that gets neglected because I'm busy streaming every day and can't fit everything in. That's why this monthly post is later than usual!
I've probably talked about this in the past but I love the stream weeks. They're amazing for just getting to spend time with you all every day in a week and get a taste of what it's like to be a full time streamer. However I'm not a full time streamer - I also make videos and do a bunch of other stuff (like organising a large scale racing championship) so they often end up as busier weeks than normal. My new office hasn't really let that happen this time though because I was only here to stream, and couldn't wake up early to do extra editing or whatever else like I would've done with working from home.
This shows already that the office was a good move as that's a significantly better work/life balance than before and I didn't burn myself out like I might have done in previous years. But it also means that there's more of a catch-up job to be done after the fact. I'm nearing the end of that now so by next week I should be back to a normal schedule and routine, but it's interesting to see how similar things from previous years are different now with my new set up.
One more of these monthly blog posts before GTA 6... I think next month's calls for a bit of reflection on things before it all changes. See you then!
