The Last One?

Hello everyone and welcome to the final monthly blog post of the year. I started doing these in September 2016 as little updates for Patreon supporters and now the whole archive sits on broughy.com/blog - I'll have to remember that September next year will mark 10 years of me doing these. 10 years of monthly blog posts before GTA 6...

So the theme of this post is one of finality. This is the last post of the year, in the last month of the year, in the last off-season of the year. I do always enjoy the December off-season since even though we play more GTA 5 than other off-seasons, the snow races we do make things different enough to me (I also love the snow in GTA). But as usual we've got the December DLC to think about as well, which at this stage is more of a "getting through it" situation than anything enjoyable. Especially since I'll be testing cars on my Birthday. Speaking of lasts, I really hope this is the last DLC for GTA Online. It needs to end.

Something else that's due to end this month is unfortunately the Choking Hazard podcast. It seems that life has started to get in everyone's way as we've only managed three episodes all year, so we're deciding to stop it after almost as many years as I've been writing these posts. I want to keep it open to potentially coming back for one-off episodes in the future, but I think it makes sense to stop kidding ourselves and scheduling monthly versions which most of the time don't happen. We'll have one last hurrah though with (hopefully) everyone there before Christmas.

And that's pretty much it for this one. We might be doing the last post of the year, GTA DLC and podcast all this month, but next month a new year starts with a certain endurance championship making a return not long after. I hope you all have a good December, thank you for the continued support, and see you all again next month!
