And Breathe
Well that was a busy December. As I talked about in last month's post, I was expecting a lot of work and stress coming my way and I was absolutely right. So much so that on the day the stress finally stopped (Christmas Day) I received a migraine all day for my troubles. But I also said I'd see you all in January for a much calmer update, and here I am!
When it comes to life stuff, it's back to just me and Zearxy being in the house and all the Christmas stuff has been put away, so for the next two months we'll be able to take a step back and relax as much as possible (with as little stress as possible) before the arrival of Baby1322 at the start of March. When it comes to work stuff, another GTA DLC is largely out of the way (apart from drip-feed cars) and most importantly the Fastest Emergency Vehicles video is finally out! That video was always going to be the most difficult of the more obscure non-raceable classes and it proved to be the case, with drip-feed content delaying it and then snow delaying it even further. I'm really relieved it's finished and with the Military testing already done a while ago it should be fairly simple to get that one done soon and finish the series (for now anyway).
The rest of January is all about business as usual. I'm enjoying being back on iRacing more regularly so expect videos on that too, and with snow gone in GTA the usual streams will return as we start a new year and season of content. I think 2025 is going to be a pretty special year for a number of reasons, but I'm hoping to start it off in the opposite way to how 2024 ended... with a lot more room to breathe.
