Preparing For The Future
Hello everyone and welcome to the monthly Patreon post for June. It's crazy to think it's June already to be honest. One more month and we're half way through 2022!
As I talked about last month I've begun the process of diversifying my content. I'm back to regular iRacing uploads and I'm looking at other games to start making content on (Wreckfest being the first). I'm looking forward to the new experiences I'm going to have with these different games, but also nervous as to how things will be received. I've already noticed a loss in subscribers over the last month which was to be expected after I stopped making the weekly GTA update videos that some might have been subscribed for. More so than ever thank you all for your extra support here. It gives me the little bit of freedom I need to be able to take some time to experiment with new things.
One big thing that I was so happy to be able to to finally get out there last month was GTACars.net. We've been working on it for a while, and it's been in my head as an idea for much longer than that, so it was a relief to finally make it live and available for everyone. Especially when the response was so positive. I'm really looking forward to building on it and making it hopefully the number one resources for all cars across all GTA games. Because for me that's one of the big reasons for my love of the GTA franchise as a whole (despite Rockstar's best efforts to ruin that in recent times).
I'm imagining that this summer is going to be an interesting time of transition for me. There's a few things that will break up me being able to fully get into a regular schedule (such as TwitchCon and F1 in July, and Sweden in August), so I might as well take that time to experiment with new things (while still doing enough of the classics to keep things going). That way when everything settles down I'll have a good idea of what I want to continue to do regularly and how I want to fit it all in. It's quite exciting to be honest!
