I Did It!

After 6 years and two of the most difficult months IRL since having a baby, the MCEC is done. Everything got done on time with almost all races starting when they were scheduled without a hitch, and I’m so proud of how it turned out. They’re such huge undertakings from a hosting perspective and in the past I’m always ready to not do it again, but this time went so well I’m actually looking forward to signing off GTA 5 with one more season.

With that in mind, I’m back in the “getting things done before GTA 6” mindset. I’ve had this for a while but as the (presumed) actually release date approaches (because I don’t think I ever actually believed the last one) I definitely need to start working on things. On the testing side, I’m really hopeful that this next DLC will be the last one so I can make final testing videos for every class from top to bottom and have them be forever accurate without need for additions. When it comes to races, randoms, gfreds, etc I’m focusing on working through the last few ideas I want to make sure we’ve experienced before we stop doing those races as often as we do now. And obviously MCEC will have one more season in October too.

For the near future, April is my normal off-season and it feels nice to get back to three streams per week alongside some non-GTA stuff after MCEC basically dominated this year so far. Then May-July will be my final normal season of content that has been my staple for a while before I drop Xbox and start focusing more on the lead up to GTA 6 after September’s stream week.

While nothing is specifically planned, it’s always good to have some early idea of what you’re intending to do over the rest of the year to give things to work towards. And with things gradually improving IRL too, I think we’ve got some exciting times ahead!
