From One Busy Period To Another
Hello all and welcome to October's monthly behind the scenes update! September's stream week is officially over and that means I've now got just two months to fit in a bunch of plans before the inevitable busy December of DLCs and snow races.
One of those things is working my way through the GTA 5 story. I started it during the stream week and I plan to upload the playthrough to YouTube starting December 1st, so Wednesday streams will be all about that for a while! Speaking of the stream week we had a lot of fun with this one - one of the best ever I think! And new for this year is that all 9 days of streams will be getting uploaded to the second channel just two weeks after they happened, on the same day they originally happened, for those who want to relive the action or missed some or all of it and want to catch up. In 1440p no less as well! I'm still working on all the other years of stream weeks and other streams in general that I had to remove from Twitch, but figured it was worth putting up 2025's edition while it was fresh.
In other news, testing videos are starting to make a return as I categorise cars in some different ways, and you've probably already seen the MCEC Season 6 announcement. I just had to host it one last time before GTA 6. The start date of Feb 1st is in a good window after what will probably be the last DLC for GTA 5 and GTA 6 dropping, and it will also make the start of Season 6 be almost exactly 6 years since the start of Season 5. Nothing else is planned as of yet, but there's a lot of stuff we've gotten in the last 6 years that I think is good to focus on and experiment with. Still plenty of time before it all kicks off though. But while I'm working on that in the background, I'll be trying to get two larger scale videos out the door over the next two months - specifically about how I'd change the car classes around and the various inconsistencies in GTA we've seen over the years. Maybe I'll aim for one per month.
