So Happy August Is Done!
Hello everyone and welcome to the monthly Patreon post for September. And I couldn't be happier we've got August over and done with! It was a pretty busy month with the new GTA DLC and getting all content at once which was a big stress. There's still a lot to test and explore in the coming weeks but the bulk of it is now done, especially after the Open Wheel testing is finished.
It was also a pretty trying month towards the end in real life too which didn't help. We did the 24h Guinea Pig stream which was amazing, only for Poppy to get ill towards the end of it which required some vet visits. Thankfully she's fine now. Unfortunately though Zearxy's little doggo Sunny from Sweden, who has suffered from a heart issue over the last few years, finally succumbed to it and fell asleep for the last time. It was difficult for me of course because he'd been part of my life since 2016 every time we went to Sweden, but it was much more painful for Zearxy who has had him in her life since being a puppy over a decade ago.
So I've been doing my best to support her and as expected work/youtube related stuff got necessarily neglected a little bit. Starting to pick up again now but I think I was due a break anyway. Though I also suffered another loss that's nowhere near on the same level but is nevertheless rather demotivating that I'll talk about on stream tonight. August certainly presented its challenges in the latter half, so yeah - I'm glad we're finally done with it and into September! Hoping for some better things and looking forward to the week of streams that will be happening next week. Details coming soon. Hope to see you all there!
