The Last Normal Month

Well it's November and that means it's the final "normal" month of the year when it comes to my regularly scheduled content, before the world famous much anticipated December off-season. It's kind of ridiculous how time just keeps going on so fast. Last December was literally yesterday I'm sure!

Now I say normal month, but in reality it's going to be a little different. While the content itself will largely follow the same pattern as usual, one key difference is going to be where that content is shown - namely, YouTube live streams. I put up a video a while ago asking opinions on streaming directly to YouTube and the reaction was very positive, but it's not an easy change or decision to make. There are so many moving parts when it comes to having chat on for everyone or just members, leaving the streams up as videos or unlisting them, which streams to show on YouTube and which to keep solely to Twitch, in addition to all the behind the scenes stuff to get it all ready.

I think I've largely figured out most of it though, so I'm now in a point of experimentation. Next week's Sunday stream will be the debut of Twitch streams also being shown on YouTube, and I'm both excited and apprehensive at how it will all work out. My main focus will always be Twitch. I'm not going to be simulcasting Wednesday or Saturday streams for example, and I'll focus on Twitch chat more than YouTube, but the chance to reach more people at least for the big Sunday streams is something I can't overlook.
